projects

plate palette
fiber is having a moment, and i am not immune. a simple tracker for how many different plant-based foods you eat in a week, with of course cute colors and ways to share with your friends. learned my way around the usda food database api.

weekly eats
everyone i know has planned their meals in their phone each week since the beginning of the apple notes app. not anymore. learned about ocr and using the claude api to parse and auto-tag recipes.

logoff
my favorite part of social media has long been the "on this day" memories features, so i built my own version and deleted my instagram app! now when i want to scroll, i go see what i already put out in the world, and then i actually text or call the friends i had tagged 9 or more years ago. learned about storing large sets of data and image files.

amateur chefs arcade
started trying to code before claude code existed with this very simple javascript game. stack overflow will always have a special place in my heart.

stroller running calculator
once i read a research study about energy expenditure while running with a stroller and learned the term "push and chase" i had to do something with that knowledge. 300+ upvotes on r/advancedrunning.
